Multibody Systems, Nonlinear Dynamics and Control
CALL FOR PAPERS
Seventh ASME International Conference
on Multibody Systems, Nonlinear Dynamics and Control (MSNDC)
to be held in conjunction with the
ASME 2009 International Design Engineering Technical Conferences (IDETC 2009)
San Diego Convention Center, San Diego, California
August 30 – September 2, 2009
Download word document.
Papers are solicited in areas related to analytical, computational, and experimental multibody systems, nonlinear dynamics and control. The subject of the papers may include, but are not limited to, vehicle dynamics, railroad vehicle dynamics, robotic systems, biomechanical systems, molecular dynamics, aerospace applications, dynamics of machines and rotating flexible structures, computational and numerical methods in dynamics, finite element formulations, nonlinear dynamics and vibration, mechatronics and experimental methods in dynamics, impact and intermittent motion, fractional derivatives, application of multibody methodologies to real-time simulations, computer vision, and active and passive controls of mechanical systems.
Papers must be submitted electronically in a pdf format as described in the IDETC 2009 web site once the ASME Paper Submission and Review Web-tool is established. All papers will be reviewed and, if accepted, will be published in the conference proceedings on CD-ROM. For more information about the conference, please contact the Conference Chair or the Program Chair.
Interested individuals are also invited to organize symposia associated with areas/topics where significant research and applications exist. In general there will be a symposium associated with each of the major subjects addressed (e.g. Vehicle dynamics, biomechanical applications, etc.), and the related papers will reside within the sessions of these symposia. Symposia topic suggestions and organizer information should be provided to the Conference Chair or the Program Chair as soon as possible, but no later than October 6, 2008
