FOMD - 2D

FOMD-2D is used to conduct topology optimization of two-dimensional structures starting from the design problem and ending with a smooth shaped final design, through a user-friendly graphic interface.

The current FOMD-2D can be used to:

• Define specific design problems
• Obtain optimal material distribution
• View optimization and analyses results
• Refine the final design through multi-step topology optimization process
• Identify and smooth structural shapes and boundaries

FOM-2D is still being developed at MKP.
